Highly sought after and hard to make, potions can make or break a party when the enemies are tougher than they are. Herblore is a very useful and expensive (both in time and money) skill. Those who have mastered the herbal arts are invaluable as support characters.

Drinking a potion during combat is a move action. You cannot mix potions in battle.

You can take 20 on Herblore while not under pressure.

Gathering Ingredients

Morytania is a desolate, unnatural land. The farm-able areas beyond the Salve can be counted on one hand. As such, ingredients are all but impossible to come across naturally. Instead, you will have to buy the ingredients or potions.

  • Attack/Ranged/Magic: +1 accuracy with melee, ranged, or magic respectively.
  • Strength: +1 damage per strike with melee and to STR checks.
  • Defense: +1 AC
  • Weapon Poison: 1D4 Damage for 1D4+1 rounds. (Fort 15 negates)
  • Anti-Poison: Removes regular poison and provides immunity for 10 rounds.

  • Attack/Ranged/Magic: +2 accuracy with melee, ranged, or magic respectively.
  • Strength: +2 damage per strike with melee and to STR checks.
  • Defense: +2 AC
  • Weapon Poison+: 1D6 Damage for 1D6+2 rounds. (Fort 20 negates)
  • Anti-Poison+: Removes regular poison, + poison, and provides immunity for 20 rounds.
Extreme Potions

Cost: 5,000gp

Duration: 8 Rounds

  • Attack/Ranged/Magic: +3 accuracy with melee, ranged, or magic respectively.
  • Strength: +3 damage per strike with melee and to STR checks.
  • Defense: +3 AC
  • Weapon Poison++: 1D8 Damage for 1D8+3 rounds. (Fort 25 negates)
  • Anti-Poison++: Removes all poison and provides immunity for 30 rounds.
Overload Potion

  • +5 to all accuracy, AC, damage, STR checks.
