Vyrewatch are the lowest of fully-fledged vampyres. There is no turning back at this point, so a Guthix balance will only act as a mild poison. They are fully bat-like with spindly limbs and large, membranous wings. They have also unlocked all the basic abilities of vampyres. Their most deadly feat is being able to read attacks, easily evading even the most skilled of blades. The only way to hit a vyrewatch is to not know you are going to hit it, so it is essential to use weapons like flails. Even then, only silver weaponry will harm them. Tackling a vyrewatch is only advised for the most skilled of combatants, and only when they are properly outfitted. They will also attack with magic, so gear accordingly.
As stated before, silver flails are best fit to attack these flying foes. If you can alloy silver with mithril, then you will find your weapon decently more effective in taking them down. Further enchantment and blessings will make it rather deadly to them. Guthix Balance, at this point, is a mild poison to them. It is not advised to try to use it against them, as they will likely kill you before you can make them down a vial.
