The Mort'ton Incident

Went to investigate sounds of disturbance coming from across the bridge to Mort'ton. I was confronted by the vyrelord known as the Judge and his guards. After attempting to gather intel, the Judge sent his guards off with an empty cauldron. Attempts to stop them were met with force, the Judge used blood magic to hold me off and break the bridge to Mort'ton.

However, I was able to prove information I had gotten from Connor. The Judg[REDACTED]

After traversing the broken bridge, I came across the Judge and his guards stringing up the drained corpses. After a moment of gloating, he emblazoned a sickle on a ruined wall with blood magic and teleported away. His guards carried off the cauldron of blood. I chose not to pursue.

Casualties:

• Several dozen Mort'ton citizens.

Collateral Damage

• Damage to the Mort'ton-Burgh de Rott Bridge.
• Several homes raided and damaged.
• A tree up-rooted by blood magic.
