The snails of Morytania are about as tame as things get. Slow, slimy, and spit a corrosive acid strong enough to melt flesh. Luckily, they are not very aggressive and will ignore most folk. They are also one of the very few edible things in Morytania, and are a staple of a traveler’s diet should they run low on supplies. They also come in a variety of colors, from plain brown to more spectacular colors like blue, red, and black, making their shells prized to artisans.
While they are the least of your worries in Morytania, they are still more than capable of melting your face from your head with their acid. Metal seems to resist their acid well enough, though properly cured leather will work too.
