Addendum - Information Acquired

"The following is a summary of the info Calsidiu managed to grab. As far as I've been able to deduce, it seems legitimate...take that for a good or a bad thing. -C"

The Judge himself has ordered the construction of a castle, keep, compound, or somesuch similar structure. He's managed to keep the whole thing under-the-hat, unseen by everyone, through one very simple method : He's not building it until the last second.

The notes taken indicate that he intends to ship large, large amounts of construction materials either in through phasmatys or simply by shore, storing them in hastily-built, easy-to-destroy warehouses. The plan is to get enough materials present to build practically ALL of the keep, then hire a professional Geomancer, or similar mage, destroy the warehouses surrounding the supplies, then overnight create his fortress.

The Vyrelady known as 'Constance' seems to be working for the Judge, for reasons and prices unknown, but works as a rather lax 'head' building manager. Which basically just means she's making sure nobody goes along and stabs the place up (oops).

The worrying thing here is that The Judge seems to be on the lookout for prominent vyrelords and ladies.... so far, it's unclear why, but him gathering his strength in other vampyres...at least, more than the cult he holds in darkmeyer....is something that doesn't bode well.

Furthermore, the point of the fortress is not clear. In fact, it seems to be something the Judge is keeping to himself. The layout is still "in development", unfortunately, so we can presume that and floor-plans will be changed when it's noticed they're missing.

Reccomendation

"It's not all bad news. The Judge seems to have ordered a massive amount of materials....more, in fact, than he could ever hope to use. It seems that, somehow, he has the wealth or the resources to acquire spare materials. And due to the fact that Constance is handling it, and judging by the paperwork involved, it looks like they're expecting overall 15% of materials to be lost before investigations occur. 15%. Considering how large this castle seems to be, that means that a ship could go "off-course", and as long as it was the only one, they'd be none the wiser and chalk it up to bad luck.

My recommendation is that we attempt a raid upon either one of the docks where a ship's present, or we find a way to take down one of their ships at-sea. Since these are ships spanning all over Gilenor, thankfully there won't be Vampyres upon them, so it shouldn't be a very problematic task.

The reason I believe this'll be important is that it will severely bolster our plans to restore the Meiyerditch base. Having high-grade materials to build with will make the task of turning it into a fully-functional base far, far easier.

~Connor."
