Gwen here
I have been through hell. It's most likely much less brutal than what Connor received at the hands of The Inquisitor, but bad enough.
I woke up chained to a slab with foggy memory of being captured by Connor during the failed mission to assassinate the Judge. Shortly, two vampyres appeared with a big barrel, flanking Judge Richter himself. They used blood magic to start siphoning my blood out of my body and simultaneously replace it with blood from the barrel. After they left, my shackles were released, and I was left to explore the cell.
I didn't bother, I went to the "bed" and lay on my side, as I did every time later that I was not part of some sick game. A strange fume wafted up from the floor, and my body agonizingly changed form. I was determined not to give Judge Richter any satisfaction though, and held still through it all. The next thing I knew, the door was opening, and I was no longer myself. I was an Aviansie.
Richter pulled me from my cell along with two huge vyres, who took me through a labyrinth of passages to a small arena. There, I was doused in blood and given the runite-edged blade that he killed Guy Treviel with. I was pitted against a feral vampire, which I dispatched easily enough, though it scored a hit on my leg. After my victory, I was manhandled back into the cell, fed, and left to my own devices, the sword left in the dirt of the arena.
I slept, careful not to lie on my wing or my injured leg. The next form I was subjected to was that of a simple human, and at that point I learned a terrible truth. Judge Richter had began genetically engineering bio-weapon monsters using Proteus and Vampyres. This time I was given armor, as I was pitted against one of the bio-weapons. Something Richter called a "Draegyre Scout," I dispatched this enemy as well, before throwing the monster's head in Richter's face as an act of defiance.
This became the normal for an unknown amount of time. I would be shackled, my body transformed, and then pitted against increasingly dangerous enemies, usually vampyric, and doused in blood. One day, a new player came into the game. A woman dressed in black, wearing a mask. Judge Richter's pet torturer. However, instead of torturing me, she made me give a show of screaming as if she were ripping my eye out. She then placed an eyepatch and blood around my left eye and her extractor, before leaving me shackled to the slab.
Some time later, I was taken to the arena again, this time locked into a suit of iron and bronze armor, and pitted against a vampyre trainee. This foe seemed to be a stranger to combat, as it made several foolish errors that led to its demise. I crippled both the vampyre's legs, before severing them altogether and leaving it to bleed out in the dust.
At this point I heard clapping, and Judge Richter materialized on his throne up on a balcony overlooking the arena. He had recorded the whole thing. A few moments later, I gave the sword to the torturer, who had claimed she was an ally, and was escorted back to the cell.
Now I was subjected to a form of shock torture, salt water flooded the cell and was repeatedly and randomly electrified. Through immense willpower, I managed not to move or scream through the entire procedure, something that annoyed the Judge to no end. He brought his torturer back to my cell, with the intent of having her break me so that he'd finally get some enjoyment out of me.
She secured me to the slab, and told me to throw what she gave me at the small, barred window in the outer wall of the cell. She then sealed the door. I pried myself out of the restraints, as they had merely been put there for show and were not locked, and threw the vial she placed into my hand. It blew the window open, and she gave me the Judge's sword, which had been in her instrument bag.
We jumped out of the window and ran for our lives. After entering Mort Myre and losing whatever pursuit we may have had, she presented me with a Burgh De Rott teleport tablet. I activated it, and she used one as well. The first thing I did when we arrived was have her release me from the armour, before returning to my room, where I always kept a spare set of my own gear.
When I returned, she had thrown off the disguise, wearing a red women's waistcoat and a hat. She revealed herself as someone named "Constance", and I went into the base to sleep, as I had not had adequate rest in a long while. The first thing I did when I woke up was write this report. "Constance" is probably still outside somewhere, and I owe her my life.
One thing we did get from this, I know Judge Richter's true identity.
When Connor killed Lord Drakan, the vampyric energy he absorbed was too much to bear, and it solidified itself into a new consciousness inside his mind, one that he'd been battling ever since. Connor and the Judge may share the same body, but they're not the same person. Judge Richter displaced Connor, locking him away in his own mind and taking control of his body.
Something else that's for sure, I'm no longer who I was, and my name is no longer Gwendolyn Snowclaw. Richter took my form, he took my friends, and he nearly took my life. I'm keeping his foul blade as payment.
Henceforth, I am Minerva Shinoyuki.
