A trek through the swamps with a cart is hardly....safe....

Overview: Burgh De Rott was out of food, out of water, and out of medical supplies. Since it was only to be a few days before everyone died, the Myreque were forced to accept The Inquisitor's "offer" of a singular free supply run. Believing it to be a trap, the Myreque armed themselves to the teeth and set out. Calsidiu, Connor, Gwendolyn and Proteus headed north under Calsidiu's guidance, to meet up with Erica Snowclaw, Gwendolyn's mother. With the help of the werewolf and the half-werewolf, the team of five were able to haul a cart full of food, water, medical supplies, and all of the supplies which had been left at Paterdomus for safe-keeping.

Connor's Account

"The journey up to Paterdomus, thankfully, was uneventful. ...so eventful, that in truth I was starting to get jumpy. There's no way The Inquisitor couldn't have known that a large group of the Myreque was moving up to Paterdomus....thankfully, we got there and loaded everything up without issue."

"The journey back had myself scouting ahead of the party, while Erica and Gwendolyn pulled the cart, Calsidiu and Proteus watching over the cart. For a while, things were going swimmingly. Partway across the trip, however, the cart ended up being stuck in a rather nasty patch of mud. While this was proving to be quite the nuisance, a swamp snake, roughly 30 feet long, attacked the party. It was dispatched in brutal fashion, and the party made progress without interruption, for a while."

Though there were troubles along the path, the team of survivalists managed to pass through relatively safely

"The only other noteworthy events which occurred on the trek were a large amount of logs being in the cart's way, and Proteus having to freeze part of the lake around the nature grotto so the cart could pass unhindered. Events only truly unfolded when we reached Burgh'. Where The Inquisitor was waiting for us.

Myself and Calsidiu approached him, Gwen, Proteus and Erica staying with the cart. He briefly spoke about hos he was glad we'd finally taken him up on his offer, but soonafter said that due to his political failings (in no small part due to the myreque, not that he knew), he needed to make an example of us, so that he could, in short, prove we're a nuisance and receive more funding from the vampyric state. He soon disappeared and set four trained hellhounds upon us."

The mutts were unpleasant, but overall easy enough to dispatch

"Once they hellhounds had been eliminated, we went to check on the cart. Thankfully, it was intact. However, a note was left on it bearing The Inquisitor's initials, thanking us for causing trouble, showing we were a threat and overall increasing his funding."

"Despite the rather bleak turn of events towards the end, the mission was an overall success! The Myreque now have PLENTY of supplies, and have food, water and medicine to survive for much longer!"
