A character can go one day without water without suffering consequences. At day two and beyond, the character must roll a Constitution (NOT Fortitude) check of 10 (+1 for each additional day without water) or take 1D10 non-lethal damage. This damage cannot be healed by any means other than food and water. Once you reach 0hp from this type of damage, you die.
Additionally, failing the check makes your character fatigued. You take -2 to STR and DEX, cannot run or charge, and strenuous activity will lead you to being exhausted.
Exhausted characters move at half speed and take -6 to STR and DEX.
Fatigue and Exhaustion from dehydration cannot be healed by any means other than food or water.
