A Darkmeyer Note is a paper currency used in Morytania. It's value is backed by the blood stores of House Drakan in Darkmeyer. Each note is worth a pint of blood in the redeemer's choice of available blood types.
Due to it's equivalent exchange of reliable, quality blood and Morytania's ruling race, Darkmeyer Notes hold a high value east of the Salve where regular gold coin is far less useful.
A handful of these notes can easily make a wayward vyrewatch turn a blind eye to you, or even buy yourself some information or a new "friend."
