Blisterwood

With our newfound access to the Arboretum, we will have access to Blisterwood. Blisterwood gives a make bonus of +8 against vyres and +3 to nonvyres, which is pretty hefty. Without some checks and balances, this will quickly become overpowered.

In order to prevent this, the following actions will be taken:

  • Blisterwood weapons obtained through the amulets will be kept by the Myreque as a group and lent out for missions and returned upon completion of the missions. Failure to turn in the weapon will be considered an act of treason and your character will be killed on sight. Lieutenants can keep a blisterwood weapon on them.
  • Expert Blisterwood requires a feat to gain its full bonuses. Without the Blisterwood training feat, you suffer a -5 to all attacks with Blisterwood weaponry. This effectively makes it a +3, or Mithril quality, weapon. This is also the current bonus of Blisterwood.
  • The Expert Blisterwood Training feat will be an Offensive Bonus Feat. Defensive characters can take it as a regular feat. Offensive characters can take it as a regular feat as well. It will have the requirement of killing a vampyre with a blisterwood weapon (crude or expert) and being level 5.
