Enter text in the Input area and choose an encoding scheme from the dropdown. For the RS+CC option you may customize the RS parameters and choose the inner‐code simulation. (The default is to use RS(255,223) plus a simulated “convolutional” inner code intended to mimic RS(255,223)+CC(14,1⁄4) as used in the Galileo mission. Since a full Viterbi decoder is not implemented, the “convolutional” option is simulated by repeating each bit 4 times.) Click Encode to generate the encoded (redundant) signal. Then press Scramble to subtly flip a few bits (each press adds a few more errors) and finally Correct to decode the message.
